Regulamin

General Provisions

  1. The Regulations of the Fishing Grounds “Turkusowy Zalew“ have been prepared with your safety and comfort in mind, as also in order to keep it tidy. All visitors staying on the territory of the fishing grounds are required to comply with its provisions. The Regulations are also intended to indicate the special treatment of fish throughout the entire fishing process.
  2. The Fishing Grounds “Turkusowy Zalew” operates based on the NO KILL principle; all fish caught should be released back into the water.

Booking and Payment Rules

  1. The fishing grounds are open from 1April.
  2. To enjoy the advantages of the fishing grounds and to be allowed to say on its premises it is necessary to make prior booking arrangement.
  3. The current offer of services along with the price list is available on the website.
  4. Bookings can be arranged on the phone on the number 603 683 253 between the hours 9.00 to 15.00 from Monday to Friday, via e-mail kontakt@turkusowyzalew.pl or via fan page Turkusowy Zalew.
  5. The advance payment in the amount of 30% must be paid to the bank account number provided on the website within not more than 2 days from the date of booking.
  6. In the event of no show within the booked period, the advance payment will not be refunded.

Responsibility and Rules of Benefitting from the Fishing Grounds

  1. Fishing grounds to be entered between the hours 12.00 – 16.00 and left 10.00 – 11.00
  2. Confirm your presence at the reception and complete all formalities, including reading and signing the Regulations.
  3. Cars must be left in the car park and the luggage should be transported on special trolleys available on the premises of the fishing grounds.
  4. It is not possible to drive the car to the stands.
  5. On the premises fishing grounds it is prohibited to:
    • swim in the fishing pond
    • use detergents for washing dishes, doing the washing in the pond
    • make bonfires (it is allowed to have barbecues/bonfire only in the designated, built-up areas)
    • litter the area
    • fix sets with screws to the piers and barriers
    • devastate property
    • disturb other users of the fishing grounds
    • deal with physiological needs outside toilets
    • smoke cigarettes in all room within the fishing grounds (special places are designated for smokers)
    • throw cigarette ends into the water reservoir
  6. In the apartment, in wooden bungalows and on piers it is prohibited to:
    • smoke cigarettes
    • use any type of equipment operating on open fire, such as flares, torches, paraffin, oil and gas lamps.
    • use gas and electric cookers
  7. The stand must be kept in good order on a regular basis and left clean at the time of departure. Used bait containers and other items should be taken away with you.
  8. Everyone is responsible for their own safety and the safety of their children.
  9. Persons under the influence of alcohol, due to their own safety and the safety of others, will be asked to leave the fishing grounds immediately without the option of cost reimbursement. In the event of suspicion of excessive alcohol consumption, visitors agree to be subjected to a breathalyzer test.

Catching – Required Accessories

  1. It is prohibited to take caught fish away from the fishing grounds and the visitors are required to adhere to the Catch and Release principle.
  2. The fisherman is required to avail of:
    • a landing net with the shoulder spacing of min. 1 meter.
    • a nash carp cradle mat
    • wound disinfectant
    • a specialized bag for keeping fish.
  3. Up to 6 carp rods are allowed per one stand.
  4. Fishing is possible only from your own stand.
  5. It is allowed to catch by means of casting methods and transport by floating models.
  6. It is advisable to catch on hooks with a micro-barb.
  7. It is prohibited to use:
    • braided line as the main line
    • braided line as the fly line, the so-called “shooting head” (“strzałówka”)
    • long shank banana hooks.
  1. Fish caught at night can only be kept in professional carp bags until dawn.
  2. Caught fish for the duration of the photo session should categorically be stored in nash carp cradle mats.
  3. During the shooting, which cannot last longer than 5 minutes, pay special attention to the safety of the specimens and sprinkle them with water.
  4. If the air temperature rises above 26ºC, the caught fish must be released into the water as soon as possible.
  5. All wounds created on the skin of the fish should be washed with a disinfectant. In case of catching a heavily injured or sick fish, such fact must be report to the fishing grounds guardian as soon as possible.
  6. It is strictly forbidden to place fish on sand or grass, to grab the fish on the gills and take photos while standing.

Final Provisions

  1. In the event of a suspicion of taking the caught fish or the fishing grounds equipment away, the staff have the right to inspect the means of transport and personal effects in the presence of the owner.
  2. Persons who engage in fish poaching, theft and property devastation will be held liable under civil law.
  3. The fishing grounds owner shall not be held liable for random accidents and items left on the premises of the fishing grounds. All persons staying on the premises of the fishing grounds „Turkusowy Zalew” assume their liability and the liability for the minors under their supervision (accident insurance NW is available for purchase on site, the cost of insurance is about PLN 3.6 per day).
  4. Minors may stay on the fishing grounds only with a legal age guardian.
  5. Violation of the Regulations and behaviour contrary to the generally accepted standards may result in being asked to leave the fishing grounds without the option of cost reimbursement.
  6. Persons staying on the premises of the fishing grounds agree to photos and short videos to be taken (e.g. at the moment of a big catch) by the employees and to have their images used in Social Media channels and on the website of the fishing grounds „Turkusowy Zalew”. At the request of the fisherman, the photo may be signed with their name and surname.
  7. Persons not complying with the above Regulations will not be considered for future bookings.
  8. Issues not covered by these Regulations remain for individual negotiations with the owner of the fishing grounds.
